Well progress is rapidly taking place on Song Dog. The slab has been given three coats of epoxy paint.
The outer walls are up.
The OSB under-siding is being installed
The garage door has been delivered. It is 9x7 and is insulated and the best of the three choices as far as thickness of metal and thickness of insulation.
The hardi plank siding will be going up this weekend.
I have decided on red as the overall color and perhaps white trim around the four windows.
I will be using a window airconditioning unit to begin cooling the cave.
I would like to post pictures but haven't learned how to do so at this point but will investigate it further.
All for now.

Slab poured for new "man-cave" on Song Dog ranch
Found an excellent concrete contractor and have a very well made 32x28 by 4" slab.
Painted it today with epoxy paint. Wanted to use white but settled for a bluish grey.
Have two bids on putting up the exterior walls and will get third bid this week.
Can't wait to get it weathered-in. Getting hot in Texas and will enjoy working inside on wiring and insulation.

It is 32 x 28 feet and 4 inches thick. The roof is of Galv-Aluminum and support is provided with 8x14 post and beams. More later.
